Overview
Open edX Platform contains a server-side request forgery caused by lack of URL validation in sync_provider_data endpoint in SAMLProviderDataViewSet, letting authenticated Enterprise Admins make arbitrary HTTP requests, exploit requires Enterprise Admin privileges.

Enterprise Admins can make arbitrary HTTP requests from the server, potentially accessing internal services or cloud metadata endpoints.
Mitigation
Apply fixes from commits 6fda1f120ff5a590d120ae1180185525f399c6d0 and 70a56246dd9c9df57c596e64bdd8a11b1d9da054 or update to the latest version.
