Overview

Hashcat v7.1.2 contains a buffer overflow caused by improper bounds checking in mangle_to_hex_lower() and mangle_to_hex_upper() in src/rp_cpu.c, letting attackers cause denial of service or remote code execution via crafted rule files or options with long password candidates.
